We were greeted by a lovely waitress who showed us to our table and offered us something to drink. They were friendly and attentive and the food...the food was absolutely amazing. They catered for my vegetarian and Lactose intolerant girlfriend and she really enjoyed the food. The tray of food I had was delicious and the quiche and sausage roll were freshly baked and tasted great. The bread was soft and fresh and croissant was crispy and with a cheese and tomato sauce type condiment which was lovely as well. I would 100% recommend them to anyone and we'll definitely visit them again. I think we'll visit again in the summer when it's warmer and sunnier so we can enjoy the scenery a bit more.

A lovely, friendly cafe which is in the grounds of Claydon park. There's a really great selection selection of cakes which taste as good as they look. There's plenty of seating and the service was really quick and efficient. The staff were lovely and very helpful. It was also really lovely having some music playing in the background, made it more homely.

My daughter gave me a voucher for an afternoon tea for mother's day. We chose this venue because I had a lovely lunch there a year or so ago after visiting Claydon House and the food was excellent. Our afternoon tea was amazing. My daughter is Coeliac and the gluten free sandwiches cakes and pastries were absolutely delicious as were mine. It was a beautiful day and we had a lovely walk along the river afterwards. Thank you so much to the chef and staff for such a wonderful afternoon tea.

Café at the courtyard on the Claydon Estate. We just had cake and coffee/hot chocolate. Service was ok. Cakes were ok, a little on the dry side. The indoor seating was very cramped, one section was closed off, so we ate outside. Luckily it wasn't raining. Reasonably priced. There were hot and cold food options on the menu.

I came here for afternoon tea. The staff here were friendly. They provided us a menu with the variety of drinks to choose from. When they brought the food, they explained what each food item was (which I found really helpful as not every afternoon tea place does this). They checked on us whilst we were eating to check if everything was OK. I recommend the scone and the Victoria sponge cake, which had a really nice vanilla flavour to it. I do enjoy the sweet treats here, so I would probably come back again for some more tea and cake.

Visited as a family with my daughter, her husband, and their children. My daughter’s knee gave way in the courtyard, and she fell quite hard. The staff were wonderful, brought first-aid supplies, and made sure she was ok. They made a good cup of tea too

We booked the cream tea with a buy a gift voucher via email , and Scott was quick to respond and ensured our dietary requests were taken care of. We have eaten many cream teas over the years, at various venues, the scones and cakes, were some of the best if not the best we have eaten . The staff are very friendly and obliging, and we will be rebooking again in the new year. recommended.
